ATLANTA, GA — Fulton County DA Fani Willis says she will appeal the GA Supreme Court of Appeals’ decision to remove her from the election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump and others.

WSB’s Veronica Waters reports that the decision Thursday leaves the future of the prosecution uncertain.

In a fiery descent, Judge Benjamin Land says that he is troubled that his fellow judges chose to take a discretionary trial court decision and covert it into something else entirely and overstep the appeals court’s own authority in the process.

Ashleigh Merchant, the lawyer who brought the original motion against Fani Willis last January saying today, " We are very pleased.”

This is a developing story.
