Funeral arrangements for Migos rapper Takeoff have been announced.

The metro Atlanta-raised rapper is set to be laid to rest on Friday at State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta.

Jesse Curney III, a pastor from New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn, confirmed to WSB that he will give the eulogy.

Takeoff, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley last week. According to a report from the Houston County Coroner’s office, he was shot in the head and torso before he died outside the business.

Migos rappers Takeoff, Offset and Quavo all grew up in the same household in Lawrenceville, Georgia and went on to become rap superstars who were nominated for two Grammy awards.

Takeoff was the youngest of the trio at 28. Quavo, Quavopis Marshall, is Takeoff’s uncle and Offset, Kiari Cephus, is Quavo’s cousin.

Quavo was with Takeoff at the time of the shooting. Pictures show him kneeling over his nephew after he was shot during what police said was a fight that broke out after a private party.

Police said they don’t believe Takeoff was directly involved in the fight.

No arrests have been made in the rapper’s shooting death.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. It is unclear if it will be open to the public.
