GAINESVILLE, GA — Gainesville police are asking for the public’s assistance as they look for a teen murder suspect they describe as “dangerous.” 

17-year-old Alan Barrera is wanted for killing another teenager earlier this month.

Police say they got reports of shots fired and a car crash on Hillcrest Avenue January 11.

When they arrived on the scene, they found 17-year-old Aristo Ramirez dead from a gunshot wound.  He had been shot before crashing the car. 

Another teen was shot in the foot.
