SAVANNAH, Ga. — Travel + Leisure is out with their list of the “10 Best Places to Live on the East Coast” and a city in Georgia made the cut. The publication says the locations offer some of the highest quality of life in the region.
Savannah is ranked as 8th on the list.
Travel + Leisure touts the Savannah’s “postcard-worthy downtown area, complete with centuries-old oak trees draped in Spanish moss.” The publication says Savannah is one of the country’s best food destinations with scenic landscapes and affordable homes.
Savannah was the only city in Georgia to make the list.
Portland, Maine is at the top of the list. Here is how the rest shakes out:
