ATLANTA, GA — Where does Georgia rank when it comes to mortgage delinquencies?
According to Intercontinental Exchange, a leading global provider of technology and data, the national delinquency rate on home mortgages rose in November to 3.74 percent, its highest level in almost three years, marking six consecutive months of year over year increases.
When looking at mortgages that were more than ninety days delinquent, Georgia ranked fifth at 1.35 percent of mortgages falling into that category.
Georgia only trailed Mississippi, Louisiana , Alabama and Arkansas in the category.
