State schools could get millions of dollars to beef up security.
The school shooting at Apalachee has put the need for school security improvements at the front of the agenda.
“A quality education requires a safe learning environment,” Kemp said on Monday at a Capitol news conference.
Governor Kemp said with a new $50 million dollar grant, each school will get more than $68,000 to enhance security.
