GUN CLUB ROAD, GA — Atlanta police responded to 1220 Gun Club Drive in northwest Atlanta around 11:30 p.m. Thursday where they found a nine year old with a gunshot wound to his left arm, and a five year old with a wound to his left elbow.

Police say the children were sitting on a couch when someone opened fire in a parking lot outside their apartment home. They added to say the intended target of the attack may have been in the apartment unit below the children.

The children are currently being treated for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
