The Gwinnett County Police Department arrested a suspect minutes after a theft involving the sale of a vehicle.

According to a press release issued by the agency, Central precinct officers responded to 1625 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth on Monday.

Police say the victim informed police that he was attempting to purchase a white Dodge Charger from a male suspect he met on Facebook Marketplace, and the suspect took $5,000 from the victim during the transaction and fled in the vehicle.

Authorities say they used technology including FLOCK cameras and the Real-Time Crime Center to track the suspect after the theft occurred.
