GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County police have charged a big rig driver in a hit-and-run accident that happened on January 28.
Investigators say the driver of the tractor trailer, 31-year-old Christian Barrier of Alabama, attempted to change lanes on I-85 near Pleasant Hill and caused the crash.
The driver of the car impacted was not injured and called in to report the hit-and-run.
Barrier turned himself in and is charged with Hit-and-Run, Improper Lane Change, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Conduct.
