GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a shooting outside a Buford restaurant and bar near the Mall of Georgia.

GCPD says officers responded to the Parma Tavern on Buford Drive Friday morning. When they arrived, they found a victim shot in the leg.

Upon responding, police said they were alerted by more gunshots in the area and returned fire. There are no known injuries to officers.

The gunshot victim found at the scene is expected to be OK.

Channel 2′s Kristen Holloway is at the scene and noticed the restaurant’s windows shattered and glass scattered by the entrance.

A Gwinnett County police car was towed away.

Police are still investigating what led up to the initial gunfire.
