Here’s what we know about the 3 high school students killed in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A Henry County community is still reeling over the deaths of three teenagers in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon.

All three students attended Eagle’s Landing High School in McDonough, and the crash happened just two miles from the school.

Kendarius Dodson, 16, Katrina Owens, 15, and Jordan Brown, 15, all died in the crash.

Here’s what we know about them:

Kendarius Dodson, 16:

Dodson, who was known as KD, was a star baseball player at the school. He wore jersey #22. He was the oldest of two children.

Dodson’s barber described him as a really good kid with a really great attitude.

Katrina Owens, 15

A good friend of Owens described her as the life of the party who lived making TikToks. Most of her TikToks were dance videos that featured her friends and family. She was one of three children and had just turned 15 in February.

She played on the Eagle’s Landing High School ladies lacrosse team.

“Our Trina (stretch) will forever be remembered by her beautiful smile, positivity, hustle and goofy-ness. We love you,” the team wrote on Instagram.

Jordan Brown, 15

Friends described Brown as quiet but fashionable.

Hundreds of students gathered at the school Thursday to mourn their classmates and release balloons in their honor. A vigil is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Eagle’s Landing High School football stadium.
