PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — An investigation is underway after an explosion happened at a Paulding County home on Saturday evening.

Fire crews arrived to a home on Paces Meadows Lane engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to contain and extinguish the fire.

Fortunately, Paulding Fire officials say no one was home at the time of the explosion and no injuries were reported.

Investigators believe the explosion was caused by a gas leak.

“Remember, if you suspect a gas leak of any kind, immediately evacuate the area. Once evacuated, call 911,” Paulding County Fire and Rescue said.
