ATLANTA — Several items belonging to the now-infamous Murdaugh family will be going up for auction later this week here in Georgia.
The auction will be held by Liberty Auction in Pembroke, Georgia, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Macon Telegraph.
Officials from the auction house confirmed to WHNS-TV in South Carolina the items belong to the Murdaugh family.
Alex Murdaugh was convicted of killing his wife and son earlier this month and was then sentenced to two life sentences in prison.
Among the items for auction are a leather chair and sofa set, lamps, dishes, and more.
The auction house told the newspaper it will be posting more pictures of auction items later in the week.
The auction will be in-person only.
Alex Murdaugh is currently in the process of appealing his conviction.
