COBB COUNTY, Ga. — An investigation is underway after a man was hit and killed by a car on Friday evening in Cobb County, according to WSBTV.
Cobb County police said the incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Canton Road, north of the Jamerson Road intersection.
A 42-year-old Woodstock man driving a black 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE was traveling northbound in the right lane when officers say a man walked into the path of the SUV and was hit.
The man, whose age and identity were not released, was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he died.
