ATLANTA, Ga. — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting at a gas station in southwest Atlanta.
A heavy police presence was reported at a BP Gas Station on Campbellton Road at around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Several officers were seen photographing bullet casings and a car at the scene.
They said a man in his mid-20s was at the gas station when he got into an argument with someone.
Following the argument, the suspect shot the man several times and ran from the scene.
It is unclear what the argument was about.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died. The identity of the victim has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
