MARTA bus, streetcar and mobility service set to resume in 3 phases

ATLANTA — After MARTA suspended bus and streetcar services due to a winter storm on Wednesday, officials say services are set to resume in phases on Thursday.

MARTA street car service will resume at 8:15 a.m. and trains will run every 20 minutes beginning on Thursday afternoon.

A MARTA spokesperson said beginning at 1 p.m., 10 bus routes will resume their normal operations. That will be followed by Phase 2, which will bring 15 routes back online.

The remainder of the bus routes will begin operating as part of Phase 3.

Mobility services will also resume at Noon with the first pick-up at 1 p.m. for medical trips only.

MARTA Bus service will resume in phases:

  • Phase One – At 1 p.m., service will resume on the following routes: 6, 19, 40, 78, 107, 110, 111, 123, 185, and 196.
  • Phase Two – Service will resume on the following routes: 5, 15, 39, 50, 71, 73, 78, 83, 89, 95, 117, 121, 181, 186, and 193.
  • Phase Three – Service will resume on all remaining routes.
