ATLANTA — MARTA announced bus and streetcar services have been suspended due to a winter storm that had led to hazardous road conditions.

MARTA said rail service was operating on its weekday schedule and mobility services were being scaled back to prioritize “pre-booked life-sustaining medical trips.”

The transit agency says they will restore service as conditions improve, however, officials did not provide a specific time.

MARTA officials say rail service may run infrequently based on operator availability.
