‘Lost and found:’ Johns Creek police searching for owner of ‘leafy herb,’ ‘family heirloom’

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — If you live in Johns Creek and lost a leafy herb or a family heirloom, you just might be in luck. The Johns Creek Police Department is searching for the owner of some items.

In a tongue-in-cheek post made to the police department’s Facebook, officers are showing off the latest addition to their “lost and found.”

They describe the item as a possibly medicinal “green leafy herb” with an antique glass pipe that could possibly be a “family heirloom.”

Officers found a black backpack in the Cameron Forest Neighborhood of Johns Creek with 9.6 grams of the herb inside.

Police say if these items are yours, you can come to the police department to claim them. But come prepared, they may ask you to show some more of the herb, just to be sure it’s yours.
