Three people shot in southeast Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. — Atlanta police are investigating after at least three people were shot in southeast Atlanta.

Police said they believe the shooting happened at another location. The victims were found at Cleveland Ave. SE and Browns Mill Road.

Police said a 37-year-old man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 28-year-old man had a gunshot wound to the arm. A 19-year-old had gunshot wounds to the abdomen and hip. The 28-year-old and 19-year-old were stable.

The victims have not been identified.

Police are working to learn what led up to the shooting.

There were multiple police vehicles in the intersection near a Mobil gas station. Crime scene tape was strung up around a red car.

An ambulance was headed away from the scene.

A gas station worker showed her the car pulling up at the intersection and flagging down an Atlanta police officer for help.

The video shows that the car had shattered windows and flat tires.

Police said they are still unsure where the shooting happened.

“At this time, it appears they may have been driving when this happened, but again since we don’t know the original crime scene location that’s why we’re asking for any information,” an officer said.

Investigators are questioning a fourth person who was in the car but wasn’t hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
