Police are working to determine what led to a shooting at a motel in Stone Mountain.

Officers were called to a Budgetel Inn and Suites on Memorial Drive during the overnight hours.

Investigators say the shooting occurred in a room at the motel. The victim was taken to an area hospital. No word on the condition of that individual or whether arrests have been made.
