ATLANTA — Consumers may have to pay more for orange juice in the near future as citrus production has declined in Florida.

According to a new report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Florida is expected to produce roughly six million fewer boxes of oranges this season compared to the previous season.

Officials point to the destruction left by Hurricane Milton as one of the main reasons behind the decline.
