ATLANTA — Sources have confirmed that a prominent Atlanta law firm is representing former President Donald Trump in the Fulton County District Attorney’s office investigation into potential criminal interference in Georgia’s 2020 election.
“The Findling Law Firm, led by Drew Findling, along with former prosecutor Jennifer Little and attorney Dwight Thomas are representing former President Donald Trump strictly for the purposes of the Fulton County Special Purpose Grand Jury,” sources said.
Drew Findling is a highly regarded criminal defense attorney known for representing famous rappers and other high-profile people including YFN Lucci, ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star Karen King and suspended Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill.
Findling is now representing the former president in one of the most high-profile cases in the country.
Trump has not yet been issued a subpoena to appear before the Fulton County grand jury, but several of his associates have been ordered to appeal, including former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and U.S. Sen. Lindsay Graham.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said she is considering asking Trump to testify.
The grand jury was convened to investigate Trump’s now infamous phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which he asked Raffensperger to “find” him nearly 12,000 votes, one more than was needed to overturn President Joe Biden’s win in the state.
The jury is also investigating a scheme to install false electors and unfounded claims of voter fraud by Trump’s associates.
