Broccoli sold at Walmart is being recalled.

The FDA says Braga Fresh voluntarily recalled certain 12oz bags of Marketside broccoli florets sold at Walmart locations across the United States.

The product was recalled due to a possible listeria contamination.

The FDA states that listeria can cause “serious and sometimes fatal infections” in the elderly, young children, and people with weakened immune systems.

The affected product was distributed to Walmart locations in 20 states, but Georgia in not among them.
