The body of one of two best friends and business partners, who vanished in February, has been identified.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said a second set of remains is in the process of being identified.
Jason Salter and Kenny Guerra were last seen on Feb. 25 in East Point. The two men are both fathers and co-own Rockstar Lifestyle Print Shop in South Fulton County.
According to friends, Salter’s Altima was found in the parking lot of a Family Dollar and Guerra’s BMW was found at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex.
On Monday, the Fulton County Medical Examiner told Channel 2′s Matt Johnson that remains found in the Chattahoochee Hills area last month have been identified as Salter.
Guerra remains missing.
The Medical Examiner has not released Salter’s cause of death.
Salter’s’ family plans to address the media at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation headquarters at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Last month, Channel 2′s Audrey Washington spoke with friends and family members who were desperate to find the two men alive.
“These two guys, they are loved by so many,” friend Torey Tomlinson said.
Police have not identified any suspects in the men’s disappearance and Salter’s death.
