Retrial begins for three suspects accused of killing coach

A teacher, a coach, a father of a beautiful girl.

Gwinnett County prosecutor John Melvin told jurors of all that was lost, in his words, “for a dadgum car,” when 29-year-old Bradley Coleman was fatally shot fighting off carjackers at a Peachtree Corners QuikTrip.

David Booker and Miles Collins are accused of murder along with alleged gunman Josiah Hughley, whom Melvin pointed at while standing at the defense table.

The trial began for three suspected gang members accused of killing Coleman.

Jurors saw security video and heard witness testimony.

Andrea Page Smith testified she was at the QuikTrip when the alleged carjacking took place and she ducked behind her car.

Defense attorneys argue that the evidence is circumstantial, and question who was even behind the deadly carjacking on scene, and who pulled the trigger.

The suspects face a total of 45 charges in the shooting.
