SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Sandy Springs police lifted a shelter in place order after a man was arrested after being suspected of pulling a gun on a kid Monday afternoon.

Police issued a warning to the community as they searched for the man in the area of Dumaine Trace off of Spalding Drive.

One neighbor was surprised to come home and see such a large police presence.

The police searched the woods behind the Lafayette Square neighborhood for two hours until they eventually found him.

He has been booked into Fulton County Jail.

The suspect’s name has not been released.
