Several people were injured after a driver plowed his truck into a restaurant in Hiram Saturday night firing a gun.

The owner of 278 South Bar & Grill confirmed that a man drove his truck through the front entrance of the building. Images from the scene show a black vehicle with what appear to be bullet holes in the windshield inside the building, which is heavily damaged.

Police have not released how many victims were injured or what their conditions are. The restaurant’s owner said a security guard was among the injured.
The club’s owner said some patrons were able to wrestle a gun away out of the man’s hands.

“We are still trying to process all this,” the owner told Channel 2 Action News. “Thoughts and prayers to everyone involved at this time, they are our main concern.”
It’s unclear what led up to the incident.
The restaurant is closed today.
