CAPITOL HILL — Former Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler is on Capitol Hill today for a hearing to consider her nomination to lead the Small Business Administration.
She appeared before the senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee.
In her prepared remarks, Loeffler speaks about her roots growing up as the fourth generation on her family’s farm in Illinois, adding “small business” is in her DNA.
“They are the opportunity and innovation engines that drive prosperity and growth and they power the American economy as much as they power the American Dream.”
She thanked President Trump for entrusting in her the “privilege and responsibility serving America’s 34 million small businesses.”
