As the investigation continues into an explosion at a Dunwoody apartment complex Sunday, plumbers returned to the Arrive Perimeter Apartments to check for more gas leaks around the complex.

Meanwhile, Sherelle Baker who survived the explosion is recounting her ordeal.

She was sitting in her car waiting for a co-worker when the building exploded--dumping bricks and debris onto her car and through her windshield.

“It was terrifying. I don’t think words can really describe it,” she recounted to reporters.

Baker shot video of her damaged car and the scene moments after the explosion and describes the screams of others.

“The one that kind of stands out was… (becoming emotional) the woman who was worried about her kid. That’s what I remember. That’s a scream you should never have to hear,” she says.

Baker was knocked unconscious for a time. She suffered a concussion, cuts and bruises but a psychological impact as well.

She has hired an attorney with Morgan and Morgan and wants the apartment complex held responsible.

“I want the people responsible (to be) held accountable for their actions,” she says.

Residents of the complex say they had reported the smell of gas multiple times to apartment management before the explosion.

The city of Dunwoody has ordered gas to the complex be cut off until every apartment is checked for leaks.

Four people were injured in the explosion, one with severe burns.
