Athens-Clarke County Police have released store surveillance photos of a man wanted in a string of smash and grab robberies at convenience stores. Police say the bald black male seen in the photographs is believed to be responsible for at least three break-ins at stores on Athens' west side. Police say he’s used a cinder block to smash windows at the stores. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.

Two people are arrested on heroin and methamphetamine charges in Stephens County: 45 year-old Willie Gibson is from Toccoa; Christy Boucher is 28 years old, from Demorest.
