DEKALB COUNTY — A shooting has injured a 16-year-old on Saturday night in Dekalb County, according to a report from WSBTV
Dekalb County authorities say that just before 11 p.m. on Saturday night, officers were called to the 4000 block of Shane Trail. That is where they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot.
According to DKPD, the 16-year-old was involved in an argument with a known suspect in the 3400 block of Flat Shoals Road. Detectives responded to the scene to investigate further. He was sent to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No other details were released. The investigation is ongoing.
Police did not release the teen’s identity and did not say if any arrests were made.
