The clock is ticking and time is running out to get holiday packages out on time.

The U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday is the last mailing date to ensure delivery before Christmas for first class and ground advantage services.

UPS said packages will need to be with them by Thursday for their three-day select service.

Tuesday was the day FedEx recommended getting boxes shipped for their ground and home delivery options to arrive on time.
