Jam out at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park! Sunset Sessions is a FREE weekly alternative music concert series with an incredible lineup of live music. This year Sunset Sessions will run through September and take place under Park Tavern’s spacious, air-conditioned Garden Tent.

Global Water Center’s Mobile Discovery Center

Global Water Center’s 25,000 square-foot Mobile Discovery Center will visit the Mall of Georgia May 19 to 23 with exciting hands-on water activities, augmented reality and interactive games to raise awareness about the global water crisis. During the free event, visitors can play water challenge games to test their knowledge of safe water issues and participate in water testing stations, solar-powered systems and more.

Duluth Spring Arts Festival

Created for artists by artists, the festival will feature more than 85 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers, and more. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations and enjoy gourmet food trucks, live acoustic music, dance performances, and much more. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.

Atlanta Air Show

Check out the Atlanta Air Show at Falcon field. The show will feature on-the-ground aircraft displays and flight demonstrations. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time, online.

Brew at the Zoo

Back by popular demand are beer sampling from some of Atlanta’s favorite breweries; live music; free carousel and train rides; and evening animal viewing for guests ages 21 and up. All four 2021 events will take place exclusively on the Zoo’s outdoor pathways. Brew at the Zoo will happen Friday, June 25; Friday, July 23; and Friday, August 27 as well.

Into the Wildwood Summer Concert Series

As the live music experience is slowly able to come back to life, Wildwood Revival is launching its first socially-distanced Summer Concert Series, Into the Wildwood, comprising multiple concerts located at Cloverleaf Farm just outside of Athens, Georgia. Old Crow Medicine Show with special guest Caleb Caudle plays on May 28.

Savor the Boulevard

Seven Avalon restaurants will come together to create an al fresco dining experience that supports struggling restaurant workers. From 6:30 to 9 p.m., foodies are invited to the Alpharetta mixed-use destination for the third annual Savor the Boulevard, a one-of-a-kind culinary celebration benefiting Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to restaurant workers in crisis. With tables spanning Avalon Boulevard, the open-air dinner party invites guests to indulge in an exceptional street-level dining experience, with prix fixe four-course meals and beverage pairings from Biltong Bar, Branch & Barrel, Colletta, Cru Wine Bar, Oak Steakhouse, Rumi’s Kitchen and South City Kitchen.
