Business is booming at a metro Atlanta Christmas tree business that raises money to pay tuition for college students.
Trees for Tuition has raised $26,000 meaning 13 students will each get receive $2,000 scholarships.
Co-founder Calder Johnson said there are many reasons to choose their trees.
“They are better Christmas trees,” he said. “You are paying for the experience and the fact that we are supporting local students.”
Student can apply online year-round. Any trees that are not sold, will be turned into mulch for local parks.
