CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — The northbound lanes of I-575 were closed for about 90 minutes Friday afternoon after a box truck crashed and caught fire.
It happened near Exit 16, Hickory Flat Highway.
Earlier in the day, Triple Team Traffic tweeted a red alert to use Highway 5 into Canton to get around the crash.

Cherokee County fire officials said the interstate fully reopened around 2:30 p.m.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
