US Senate Veterans Affairs Committee approves former GA Congressman Doug Collins for VA Secretary

GEORGIA — The US Senate Veterans Affairs Committee approves the nomination of former GA Congressman Doug Collins for VA Secretary.

Collins will still need to be confirmed by the full senate to take office.

Before getting into politics, Collins was a member of the US military. He’s still in the US Air Force Reserve.
