ATLANTA, GA — If you have a flexible spending account (FSA), you need to make sure you use the money by the end of today.

WSB Consumer Advisor Clark Howard says you have until midnight to spend money in an FSA or risk losing it.

It can be used for everything from over-the-counter medications a new pair of glasses or even skincare products.

About half of FSA account holders forfeited money in 2022, by an average of $441, according to the employee benefit research institute.
