A Douglas County woman is accused of practicing medicine without a license out of her home in Winston.
Kristie Johnson allegedly injected patients with Botox and hormone therapy pellets, under the guise of weight loss treatment. Peachtree City Police had been investigating her for three months, over her Omni Medical Clinic.
Lt. Jason Epps tells Channel 2 Action News, “So far, we can’t find any record of her being certified to do anything like this in Georgia or any other state.”
She was allegedly evicted from her Peachtree City office in February for nonpayment of rent. Last Friday, Douglasville police charged her with using a real doctor's name without his knowledge to write a prescription.
