CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police are investigating a fiery crash that killed one person and sent another to a hospital.
Police responded to the crash on Interstate 285 eastbound near Old Dixie Road. The crash resulted in one car catching on fire.

When officers arrived, they found a woman dead in the roadway. Police said another driver is in critical condition.

Police did not say if the car on fire belonged to the woman who was killed or the driver in the hospital.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields reported on the crash and closures throughout Channel 2 Action News This Morning. All lanes reopened just after 10:45 a.m.
The name of the victims have not been released.
