A 78-year old woman who was killed in Northwest Atlanta has been identified.

Firefighters arrived at the home on 7th Street near James Jackson Parkway early Sunday.

They say Mamie Farley had a pulse when they pulled her from the home but she later died after being taken to Grady.

It took hours to get the flames under control, and the home is a total loss.

The fire remains under investigation.
