GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police said a woman was shot to death Friday afternoon inside a used car dealership on a busy road.
The shooting happened at the Royal Court Motors dealership at the intersection of Centerville Highway and Annistown Road in Centerville around 4 p.m.
Police said a man wearing a mask walked into the store and shot the woman to death. They are still searching for the shooter.
“Detectives are believing that the possible suspect may have known the victim or was known to the business somehow,” police Cpl. Ryan Winderweedle tells WSB Radio.
Police have not identified the victim or released her age.
Detectives are working on leads in the case, but there is not an active suspect search at this time.
