For the second time in just over a week, robbers hit the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in Woodstock.

Employees at Jared's Jewelry tell Woodstock police, a heavy-set, middle-aged black man entered the store Tuesday morning, brandishing a handgun.  He made off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

Woodstock police are reviewing the surveillance video as they pursue leads.  The Cherokee Tribune reports the suspect was dressed in a plaid shirt, khaki pants and a caddy-style hat.  He remains at large.

On April 20, Woodstock police were called after a car crashed into the front of the True Religion Jeans store at the mall at 4:45 a.m.

Police gave chase and the suspects' vehicle wrecked on Highway 92 west of Wade Green Road.  16-year-old Ladarrius McSwain of Atlanta died.  A second burglary suspect, 23-year-old Tora Gordon of Atlanta was hospitalized at Wellstar Kennestone.  Charges are pending.

Other suspects and up to two other vehicles may be involved in that smash-and-grab burglary.
