Georgia may be in the deep South, but it still can get chilly to run around outside without clothes on in winter.

Clothing-optional Paradise Valley Resort & Club in Dawson County wants to offer guests indoor facilities they can use through the winter.

Dawson County commissioners approve expansion plans to add an indoor pool and gym.  They do stipulate a new fence around the property.

Some neighboring residents spoke out against the rezoning but a healthy sampling of club patrons spoke up in favor.

Resort owner Jeff Wasserman tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he hopes to complete construction within 18 months.

Wasserman says guests' attire runs the gamut.  People can wear "as little or as much clothing as they want, or nothing at all," he tells the AJC.

Wasserman counts about 500 people at Paradise Valley on any given weekend.

"We've rocked and rolled the last eight years," he tells the AJC.
