The son of a well-known Hollywood actor is recovering from being shot twice - all because he refused to surrender his iPhone.

Greg Alan Williams worked with Denzel Washington in 'Remember the Titans.'  He played the role of Coach Paul 'Doc' Hines. Now Williams is focused on his son Gregory's recovery and hopes someone will recognize the picture of the man who shot him twice - first in his side.

"The bullet came out of his side and he was shot in his right arm," said Williams.

Williams' son was going into a friend's apartment at 2025 Peachtree Road in Buckhead when he was approached by a young man wearing long dreadlocks and a baseball cap.

"My son made a poor choice on one level by wrestling with him," Williams said.  Because his attacker had a gun Williams said his son feared he'd be shot anyway.

"There's never a tougher moment than when it comes to your children being harmed or falling victim to an accident or an assault.  I feel or every parent who's had to endure this," Williams said.
