The misdemeanor driving under the influence case against Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer has finally been placed on the Fulton County State Court docket – 21 months after his arrest and three months short of the expiration of the statute of limitations.

Two misdemeanor charges were formally entered in the court on May 18, driving under the influence alcohol less safe and defective or no taillights. No court date has been set.

Budenholzer was arrested on Aug. 28, 2013 after being stopped at 10:30 p.m. at 10th Street and Crescent Avenue in Midtown.
