MODESTO, Calif. — California police seized 80 guns, more than $140,000 and 120 pounds of marijuana Thursday during a raid that was part of an investigation into a drug and gun ring, officials said.
Modesto police said they served search warrants at various locations, confiscating 1,700 marijuana plants and $150,000 worth of assets as part of the raids, KOVR reported.
Luis Fernando Valencia, 23, and Luis Alfonso Valencia, 18, were arrested and charged with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a silencer, committing a felony while on bail and possession of marijuana with intent to sell, according to arrest records.
Another suspect, who has not been identified, was cited for sales and cultivation of marijuana, police said.
