The September 2020 full moon, aka the Corn Moon, peaked in the night sky early Wednesday.

Corn Moon over DIA & Westin Hotel I keep trying to get the perfect full moon rise over DIA...This one is closer but I needed the sun to stay up about 10 mins longer for a little more light on the foreground...I'm not complaining after a month of crappy air quality I was delighted to even SEE the moon 🌙 :-) #canonR5 EF100-400 4.5-5.6 L IS II USM + Extender EF 2x III focal length 800mm f/11 1/50th sec ISO 3200 #canon #dia #denverinternationalairport #westin #denver #colorado #fullmoon #cornmoon This image would have been nearly impossible without the R5's ability to focus at f/11 + about 5 stops of combined image stabilization allowing the very slow shutter speed...and the R5 had no problems at ISO 3200.

Skewered. The world-famous Hotel del Coronado has been the playground of the stars; guests have included Thomas Edison, Charlie Chaplin, Babe Ruth, Madonna, Barbra Streisand & Oprah Winfrey. The hotel has been featured in many films, most famously "Some Like It Hot", starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon & Tony Curtis. It has been said that King Edward VIII met the divorcee Wallis Simpson at the Hotel Del, and would later abdicate the throne to marry her. After chasing this photo for many years, last night, my friends & I finally hit the jackpot! During previous attempts, the sky was socked in with clouds, completely obscuring the rising full moon. With hot weather & clear skies, we were ecstatic to finally capture this amazing moment!
