Morejon was at the wheel of his Honda Accord, driving “at a high rate of speed" in Houston, police said.

He crashed into a pickup that was in the process of turning into a business. The driver of the truck was thrown from his vehicle and suffered a brain bleed and a broken arm, the Chronicle reported. He was not wearing a seat belt, NBC News reported.

The crash was recorded by a security camera, KPRC reported.

He also faces a count of intoxication assault, KPRC reported.

He could face upgraded charges if the truck’s driver dies.
