Rapper Post Malone will soon be a father.
According to People magazine and E! News, the Grammy-nominated artist, born Austin Post, and his girlfriend are expecting a baby – the couple’s first.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life,” the 26-year-old, who hasn’t publicly revealed his girlfriend’s name, told People. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad. Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
No further details, including the baby’s due date and sex, were immediately available, according to the entertainment outlets.
The news, reported Tuesday, comes less than a week after the “Rockstar” singer announced that his next album, “Twelve Carat Toothache,” is dropping June 3, according to People.
