The Taurid meteor shower, which occurs from September to November every year, is bringing stunning light displays to the night sky.
According to the American Meteor Society, the Northern Taurids peaked Wednesday and Thursday, while the Southern Taurids peaked on Oct. 29 to 30.
Skygazers have been flocking to social media to share their photos of possible meteor sightings. Here are some of our favorites:

Witnessed this incredibly bright orange fireball during the Northern Taurids Meteor Shower, streak across the sky. Visible for 4-5 seconds it eventually broke a part into smaller fireballs before it finally disappeared #MeteorShower 💫
